Best Coast

Los Angeles brings you the Best Coast. Their honest lyrics and innocent sound is best on a summer day when you don't know whether to laugh or cry. You're gonna want to dream away to their lovely, soft music and song. I promise you that.

Museum Of Bellas Artes

A three piece band from Sweden. Where the music can be described as harmonious indie pop and light 70s disco mixed with cheerful synths in combination with flutes. The result can be compared as late summer, sun-bleached hair, ocean waves and the twitter of birds in the air. Listen and just dream away.

Wild Nothing

Wild Nothing is a one man-band (not live, though). I would call this indie-something (pop, probably) with shoegaze influences.
It's funny, a week after I found the album Gemini, me and some friends of mine went to a huge record store, and I found a LP of the album with a note, clearly claiming this to be the best debut album of 2010. Pitchfork gave it 8.2 (though I don't really like Pitchfork, it still counts for something) I agree with them; this is good. Really good.

Bye Bye Bicycle

The band play indie pop with influences from classic '70s disco pop. Their debut album "Compass" is really well produced with an accuracy that everyone should have.
Five boys (André, Samuel, Jakob, Nils-Olof and Viktor) from Sweden are behind the band "Bye Bye Bicycle". I really think they show what they're capable of and a musical experience with their music provides an inner peace and a fictional trip.

Vivian Girls

This time I gonna tell you about the trio "Vivian girls" from Brooklyn. It's a girlband consisting of Cassie Ramone, Kickball Katy and Fiona Campbell. This year, Fiona replaced the former drummer Ali Koehler. Ali Koehler is now the drummer for the band "Best Coast", which I had thought write about in another post. Vivian Girls makes music that can be described as a blend of indie pop,surf-punk and shoegaze.
Don't really know why I like them, I just do. Maybe it's because I get such good insperation when I'm about to draw something. Well, in general, the music is nice to listening to.You know, it makes you happy and sad, emotions you should feel when you listening to music you enjoy.

Last year I saw them live at Way Out West. They were good and interesting to listen to. One thing I thought was very cool, was when they were playing a song and they started switching instruments with each other. So when the song was over, all three had played from all the instruments.

Here are some songs from their 1st album, "Vivian girls". Spotfiy had unfortunately not their 2nd album "Everything Goes Wrong", which I think is their best.
