The Dreadnoughts

Great, very danceable Vancouver-based band. My new obsession, to be honest. They are the kind of folk punk band that doesn't pretend to be Irish. Not only do they play folk-inspired punk rock, but they also play polka-punk and sea shanties. They also like cider. A lot.

Unfortunatley, they are kind of on a hiatus now. They will do a few shows a year or so, but they will probably never record anything new. They were afraid to get too big to handle it, and decided that they wanted to do other things with their life.
